KENYA - CTC Black Tea
Descriptions
Organic production
90 °C - approx. 3 min
Grown in Kenya (Kericho) at an altitude of 200m.
Imported by the British and reinvented by the Kenyans from 1963, the year of Kenya's independence, this robust tea offers spicy and tannic notes.
It is produced in the CTC (Cut, Tear, Curl) style, meaning that the leaves are cut, torn, then rolled into tiny balls that almost resemble coffee grounds.
If you are looking for the perfect fuel to start or continue your day, look no further! However, like all Assam teas, be sure not to steep it for too long…
Rich in theobromine and polyphenols, this tea with antioxidant power helps fight skin aging. Detox, it promotes drainage and the elimination of toxins. It also contains L-theanine, an amino acid that helps you stay both alert and relaxed.
